A pure hybrid cross of two of everyone's favourite strains, Blue Zushi and Sour Apple Runtz, Zapplez first made waves through the London dank scene in 2021 and has since conquered the hearts and minds of cannaheads up and down Great Britain and further afield. With both parents pushing the plus 30% THC marker, a terpene profile built to rival the best, and a yield potential that will make even the most experienced Dr Greenthumb's drool, Zapplez is definitely hard to beat. The Effects - Zapplez is an Indica dominant hybrid weed strain clocking in at about 80% Indica/20% Sativa, serving up that classic panel of hybrid effects. The 20% Sativa genetics kick off proceedings with a heady, euphoric high that is pretty quickly joined by a more relaxing, sedative body buzz. The balance definitely falls in the Indica side of the spectrum within 30 minutes or so, but the Sativa genetics keep things interesting and mellow throughout. The Flavour/Taste - As the name suggests, Zapplez is a mouth-watering blend of sweet and sour, and stay very much in line with what we have come to know and love from Blue Zushi and Sour Apple Runtz. The sour apple punch is complemented perfectly by the creamy, nutty, cookie dough like undertones brought about by the Blue Zushi and really come to life on the exhale. The Look - Bag appeal is next to none with Zapplez. When grown in average to better-than-average conditions (more on the grow later), the trichome coverage and bud density (and size) is exactly what we all love to see. The buds are a light green, with flecks of darker green and purple throughout. The Grow - Zapplez is a UK strain through and through, but that doesn't mean she likes our spring and summer - and fair enough, very few cultivars do.
