Strain Profile

Purple Elephant

Purple Elephant, also known as “The Purple Elephant,” is an evenly balanced hybrid strain (50% indica/50% sativa) created through crossing the infamous Purple Urkle X another unknown strain. Best known for its super heavy nighttime high, Purple Elephant is a great choice for any hybrid lover who's after a soothing way to kick back and get to sleep. The high comes on with a creeping effect, sneaking into your brain with a happy and lifted sense of pure euphoria. You'll feel creative and giddy, ready to chat and laugh with anyone and everyone around you. A relaxing body high accompanies this sociable lift, helping to soothe aching muscles and joints while leaving you feeling pretty couch-locked and sleepy. Combined with its high 19-30% average THC level, these effects make Purple Elephant a great choice for treating those suffering from conditions such as chronic stress or anxiety, insomnia, PTSD and appetite loss or nausea. This bud has a sweet and spicy fruity grape wine flavor with hints of flowery earthiness to it, too. The aroma is very similar, with an earthy flowery overtone accented by sweet berries and spicy grapes. Purple Elephant buds have grape-shaped dusty green nugs with thin orange hairs and a coating of frosty, amber-tinted white crystal trichomes.
