Strain Profile
This pack includes two different phenotypes selected by Oldman Green himself (13 seeds of each phenotype). The first phenotype differs greatly from today's typical selections by its strong skunky stench, as the descendants of Skunk #1 usually stand out for having a sweet and fruity aroma. The second phenotype is similar to the first but not as original or interesting, although it maintains the Skunk essence. Old School Skunk, history in the cannabis scene A bit of history can help us understand the significance of this strain. It was originally developed in the US and introduced to Europe in the early 80's by Sam the Skunkman, a Cultivators Choice member. Skunk is also the base strain that founded most of the early seedbanks in Holland. It is a plant with a very narrow structure that can deceive the grower, yet they are great producers. It develops typically Sativa leaves, long and narrow, acquiring purple colours once it enters the flowering stage. It offers a high production indoors, with a yield of more than 500g per m2 in about 65-75 days from the change to flowering. Outdoors, it offers a yield of over 600g per plant. It produces rotund, curly flowers that are ready to harvest in early October. Old School Skunk, flavours and effects Old School Skunk offers a potent and pungent as well as interesting terpenes profile, blending aromas worthy of a frightened skunk with rotting flower undertones and some spicy notes. Certainly, a very different taste from the most known classic varieties, sweet and fruity flavours based on Skunk #1.
