Strain Profile
This pure indica comes from the Andarab district in Kandahar in the south of the country, where it is very hot and dry. The plants grow very large and fat, they smell intensely of musk interspersed with oily and earthy scents, overall the odour is like woody coffee with hints of ripe apples and blueberries. In contrast to the always fruity and nutty terpene profiles that are more common in the north of the country, this indica from Kandahar is rather spicy and only slightly fruity. Kandahar is best suited for outdoors, indoors and especially for greenhouses, where it delivers the best results. Kandahar is also known and famous for the production of "black hashish", this hashish is still produced by the tonne every year. The genetics of this landrace ensure that the plants grow bushy and have dark, broad leaves that are usually significantly shorter and denser than most Afghani landraces.
