Strain Profile
Genetics: Blissful Wizard Bx x The Brunch F1 #5 Filial Generation: F1 Flowering Time: 65 Days / Outdoor: Early October Cannabis Type: Feminized Photoperiod Indica/Sativa: Sativa Hybrid Yield: Medium Phenotypic Variation: Moderate Terpene Profile Fruity, creamy, and a bit spicy – a complex and nose-tickling aroma. Caryophyllene and limonene are tied as the top terpene, followed by linalool, ocimene, and pinene. Effect Euphoric and energizing, Balder’s Crepe is a powerful but still comfortable sativa-leaning hybrid. Just like it’s parents, this strain is an incredible anxiety crusher, the kind of kind you want to smoke from sunrise to sunset. Plant Morphology Baldur’s Crepe is a nice compact sativa, thanks to the Blissful Wizard mother, which also brings weight gain and contrasts the deep maroons and purples from the Brunch #5. A good contender for scrogging, she is very pliable and will provide plenty of lateral branching to play with. Notes from the Growers The team at Dirty Bird has long anticipated the birth of the Baldur’s Crepe given that it is a cross of two of our favorite daytime sativa strains: the local legend, Blissful Wizard, and Dirty Bird’s flagship strain, The Brunch. Thankfully, it did not disappoint. These girls were bag-appeal central and not for the faint of heart; she boasts a heavy hitting Sativa-hybrid effect that will leave you shooting magic missiles like an OG wizard from the comfort of your own couch. The deep maroon and purple hues of The Brunch beautifully contrast the vibrant green and orange of the Blissful Wizard. The flowers are dense, golf ball-shaped nuggets that are dripping in sugary, trichome goodness. She looks so good, you may just want to eat it, but approach with caution, and save that for another day. Outdoors, the Baldur’s Crepe was equally impressive. Up here in Maine, finding genetics that perform outdoors within the limited season we have can be a challenge. Baldur’s Crepe finished beautifully and well within the season. It didn’t struggle with mold or septoria whatsoever. We topped it once and it trained itself, with plenty of airflow and very little manicuring needed. They were happy girls start-to-finish, and we were happy girls start-to-finish. Do you find mistakes or wrong information? Or is there something you want to add?
