The cultivatable species of the legendary Cordyceps genus. Unlike wild C. sinensis (which parasitizes caterpillars and costs $20,000+/kg), C. militaris can be commercially grown on grain. Contains cordycepin — studied for anti-fatigue, oxygen utilization, and endurance enhancement. Orange club-shaped fruiting bodies. Major supplement ingredient.
